This tasting experience will teach attendees about a variety of whiskeys in a casual and social setting overlooking the ocean led by a tasting expert. Some of these bottles won’t be found on the top-shelf anywhere.  They can be considered collectors quality whiskey and our guide will help the tasters recognize and appreciate their color, body, nose and palate.

This event will be held at a private residence and hosted by a Palisades Elementary parent. All revenue from this event will benefit the Palisades Elementary Foundation (PEF).

An esteemed whiskey expert will be on hand to lead everyone on the tasting experience. Dave Wankel has been a spirits tasting expert for decades and will be able to provide everyone with a basic understanding of the key properties to be identified when evaluating whiskeys. He will also offer tastings of some rare and special bottles of whiskey from his considerable collection. These whiskeys cannot be found in most commercial establishments and is a special treat for any whiskey lover.

All tasting attendees will be provided with a set of two Chrystal Glencairn whiskey glasses which are specially shaped and designed for high-end whiskey enjoyment.
